Ladies and gentlemen of The Court of Lazarus,
It is my pleasure to announce our 248th Court will be held on Sunday, September 18th 2022 at Madame X. Join us at our decadent Haven for an evening of darque music and darker discussion. Here’s what to expect for this month’s Court:
Divine Masculine Energy Conclave
Join our panelists as we explore the nature and attributes of the Sacred Masculine. This Conclave aims to celebrate the Yang/Mithu/Shiva energy that is inherent in all living creatures. This is a force that fights to preserve and protect life, which leads with love and integrity. Our discussion will lead us to how we can awaken and nurture the Divine Masculine to create balance within the Self.
Autumn Rite with Hierophant Enrico
The sweltering heat of the summer months are coming to a close to make way for the great transition to the crisp colorful season of Autumn. In this rite we will honor the turning of the Wheel of the Year as our wise Hierophant Enrico directs our energies to the balance of shadow and light, their inescapable bond, and the coming darkness of winter.
DJ Stalagmike spins for the Court
The Court of Lazarus welcomes the return of DJ Stalagmike. This is the force behind Defcon NYC Industrial, a pillar of alternative nightlife. DJ Stalagmike has been serving up the best in industrial, alternative, new wave, and dark dance since time immemorial. Be prepared to be possessed by the pulsing, enrapturing set this artist promises to deliver!
Big Mithu Energy Raffle Basket
Enter for a chance to win a basket filled with items fit for a King (or Warrior, Magician, or Lover). This month we will feature goods of the occult and alcoholic variety. At only $2 a ticket, you can’t afford to pass on winning this basket!
Additional Important Info and Rules of our Court are as follows:
- Court officially begins at 9 pm on the UPSTAIRS floor. Feel free to come early and satiate your appetite with potions of the alcoholic variety. Remember to tip generously!
• Admission is $10 this month for both Citizens and Guests
• Open to those 21 and older (with valid ID)
•Gothic formal dress is expected and required. All-Black Attire is also acceptable. Court of Lazarus will be adhering to mask protocol as enforced by venue. The Council encourages all Citizens and Guests to wear a mask as befits your personal compass. Extravagance is always appreciated!
• Photography and videography are STRICTLY PROHIBITED in all areas of New York’s Original Salon Noir.
